The 17th Street Farmers’ Market and the Shockoe Bottom Neighborhood Association present the Shockoe on the Halfshell Oyster Festival on October 18 & 19, 2008. A couple of big events are scheduled for the 17th Street Farmer’s Market in the next few months: Bakers’ Bonanza happens some time in September and Shockoe on the Halfshell, “our first-ever oyster festival”, is set for October 11-12.
