What is the story behind those 2 beautifully restored train cars that show up at the foot of the 14th Street Bridge from time to time, and just sit there for a few days? I see cars parked, and people inside, but I never see it get moved!
Any thoughts?

I think it’s actually Norfolk Southern. They wine them and dine them!
I hear the General Assembly eats lunch in those cars…quite possibly for the reason Scott put forth.

I’ve seen them there over the past few years, too. I emailed somebody at Norfolk Southern, and they are indeed used during the General Assembly.
