I’m no fan of Club Velvet or Sam Moore, but this seems like some pretty authoritarian police work, if not outright entrapment.
Nice to know my tax dollars are helping undercover agents enjoy champagne and girl-girl sex shows between consenting adults.

I don’t believe this is a case of authoritarian police work. Underage drinking, public nudity, drug use, consumption of alcohol in unauthorized areas of the club and allowed sexual acts to be performed on club customers usually results in getting your liquor license revoked….
I’m glad my tax dollars are shutting down the operations of a true scrumbag. Kudos to the police. And to all the guys who go to CV: please stop.

It’s always very disappointing (and disturbing) to see people applaud overreaching government authority when it suits their aims. Real freedom means having to put up with things you don’t like sometimes.
MD’s right, in that sense – if you don’t like Club Velvet, there’s a very simple solution: don’t go.
People act like this is the end of things which is a hoot. You don’t know Sam Moore or his Lawyers. I personally don’t care either way but if I wanted my tax dollars spent on this witch hunt I would go to Club Velvet myself and not waste the money.
