Join Shockoe Slip merchants and restaurants this Thursday and Friday for their Open House Block Party!

Come to our first annual Shockoe Slip Open House Block Party charity event December 10th and 11th for a barrage of amazing specials and deals and tons of fun! Get an edge on your holiday shopping, take advantage of drink and dinner specials, pet some puppies for adoption, warm up with hot cider, sing some Karaoke, dance to hot holiday music and be among friends all while helping Shockoe Slip raise funds for charities!
Here is a little preview:

*DRANSFIELD JEWELERS* will be having 15% to 50% off all inventory with a portion of all sales going to the customer’s choice of Richmond SPCA or Caritas. They will also be raffling off a set of .44 carat diamond studs, free to enter to anyone who visits at least 3 of the participating block party businesses.

*ANTIQUE BOUTIQUE* will have 10% to 20% off all Nutcrackers, 50% off all Anna Lee Holiday Decorations plus select others, and buy one get one half off stocking stuffers. Also 10% of all sales for those two day will be donated to the Richmond SPCA.

*FOUNTAIN BOOKSTORE* is going to host an author book reading with Hannah Huber at 6:30pm Thursday night, and a book signing with Andy Straka at 12:30om Friday, and will also serve as a drop off for Toys for Tots.

*SEGWAY OF RICHMOND* is going to host dogs and puppies from the SPCA for adoption and raffling off a Segway Tour of Richmond to benefit the Richmond SPCA.

*THESE FOUR WALLS* will be having a huge Holiday Sale, free apple cider, and holding a raffle to benefit the Richmond SPCA.

*FRAME NATION* will be giving away a free holiday art print to the first 100 people as well as a doorprize for a $100 gift certificate toward custom framing both nights of the event.
Frame Nation will also be hosting a non-profit selling wine/beer!

*AVIS* is giving away $25 gift certificates for 3 day or more rentals at ther location and is a Toys for Tots drop off location.

*VIRGINIA HAIR SALON & SPA* is holding a giveaway drawing for a free haircut and will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots.

***Frame Nation, Avis and Virginia hair will also be hosting DJ Rick Danger! He will be spinning some hot holiday tunes to get us all in the spirit!***

*SHOCKOE ESPRESSO* is offering discounts on all their different flavors of bulk coffee. They will be roasting chestnuts, and serve as the headquarters drop off location for toys for tots.

*HELIUM* is going to serve as a Toys for Tots drop off location and will be hosting live music by the fountain outside Friday night.

*CITY DOGS* is giving away a free hotdog to any one who brings a toy for Toys for Tots to drop off at their location, with 2$ drink specials to wash it down. Friday night Acousticat and Scottzilla will be their live entertainment.

*SINE’ IRISH PUB* will donate 1$ when selected menu items are ordered to Caritas. They are hosting Thursday night Karaoke and Gill will be their live entertainment Friday night.

*KOBE JAPANESE STEAK & SUSHI* offers to donate 1$ to the Richmond SPCA when any hot Sake is ordered and will give an extra free small hot Sake. They are also introducing their new Menu with over 40 rolls, the best selection in Richmond, and happy hour specials until 7.

*DORA’S BRAZILIAN GRILL* will be grilling specials outside and a portion of those proceeds will be donated to Caritas.

*BOUCHON* will be offering a special that includes a taste comparison of French to Virginian reds and whites complimented by a spread of locally made goat cheeses, with a potion of proceeds going to the Richmond SPCA.

*THE BERKLEY HOTEL* is having a prime rib with a house salad special and happy hour wine specials, they will also be a pick up location for toys for tots.
