Can a thing be new and a tradition at the same time?
Maybe I am dense, but don’t see hardly any location information on the schedule. Are the events just taking place on the dock at rockets landing? At the canal walk? At bell isle?
Example:
Bell Choirs and Carolers:
1:00: Salvation Army Christmas Brass Ensemble (30 minutes)
2:00: Salvation Army Christmas Brass Ensemble (30 minutes)
3:00: James River Ringers bell choir (30 minutes)
Where are these things taking place? No clue…
It looks like all of the events are held at Rocketts Landing. The only place the website offer directions to is Rocketts Landing.
duh the rapids
In the past all the events have been at the Osbourne Boat Landing. If everything is at Rocketts now, then that would be “new” I guess…..It’s always been kind of a non event anyway. Boats go by with lights. Big wup.
If anyone could use some holiday cheer, Christo, it’s you.
Thanks for the snide comment, cw, but I’ve got PLENTY of real good cheer right here. You?
The art village, music, food and Parade of Lights will all be at Rocketts Landing.
There’s usually a good time to be had hanging out on Libby Hill and watching the boats do their thing.
Poor, poor lonely christo.
