I agree. Aziza’s is a great little restaurant and I would recommend it highly. My only criticism is that IMO it seems that the chef is a little liberal with the salt.
A-MAZING food and the best slip-a-way spot in Richmond for an anonymous biz or political meeting. The family that owns Aziza’s is awesome and by your third time there has memorized you name and those of your kids.
The Chef is Billy Fallan, from Billy Bread fame, and the family restaurant is so laid back that it is destined to become a cornerstone of Richmond’s very diverse hoi paloi scene.
And while you are waiting for takeout or to be served, check out the tin-punch ceiling, installed by Billy and his brother. Beautiful.
