The slips are built, cost sunk. At the right price, you should fill them and have a waiting list for the next phase. That price is not $3600 (30 ft) - I would guess at the discounted $2880 you did not get as many as you would like filled...maybe...$2880 is getting more reasonable. A Times Dispatch article from awhile back had said around $3000 to $5000 a year if I remember. That's way more expensive than the marina's on the Chesapeake Bay. Can't imagine they'll fill all the slips at that cost. Hopefully when / if the city marina is built, the city's marina will be less expensive.
