Kollatz’s Richmond in Ragtime drops in November

Richmond author etc. Harry Kollatz (previously) has the cover art for and info about his next book, Richmond in Ragtime, (due in November) over at The Blue Raccoon:

This is a narrative, bricolage style, covering just three rambunctious years, 1909-1911. The coil of the story is provided by Adon Allen Yoder, a grassroots Socialist reformer who published a muckraking pamphlet called The Idea.

    Thanks for the shout out!

If folks are interested, I’m attending several events in the near future where books and my signature in them will be available. There will be more, but here’s two that I know for sure.

Nov. 8, Sat., 1:30-3:30, the Museum Shopper’s Fair, Library of Virginia downtown.

Dec. 2, Tuesday, beginning at 5 p.m., the Barnes & Noble at Libbie Place.

Just in time for gift-giving season. The 224 illustrated pages sell as a whole for $25.

Harry, read the ‘Turkey Town’ short teaser piece in Richmond Magazine. I am really looking forward to the book.
