I love seeing Richmond up close at the pedestrian level. It is the best way to experience a city. While I have not been on the particular walking tours listed here, I did have the pleasure of taking a walking tour last weekend, sponsored by the Museum of the Confederacy, on Jefferson Davis and Richmond. The anecdotes about the Confederate president were really interesting and I liked finding out the history behind the buildings and locations I pass by every day. I will definitely put this tour on my “must do” list for visiting friends.
