Though they often mistake my windows for shortcuts, they are surely a sight to see. One thing I suggest? Don’t park under the trees when they are here. 10,000 birds make a TON of red and purple poo.
Honestly, had to get the car washed last Sunday. The windshield was so painted could barely see to drive.
They look cool flocking through the sky though…
I went to see the martins on the 26th, and it really is a sight to see.
For those who missed it, just remember that it was only the *festival* that was on the 26th, and you can still go out to see the purple martins on your own until late August-into-September.
Don’t wait too long, though!
