   Actually, the story reads that although the young lady was assaulted, she was able to fight off her attacker and call for help. We should be very grateful that she escaped considering the dire possibilities. I guess it would be an attempted rape or assault charge.

   When the RTD posted the story yesterday, they said that she had reported a rape.

   yes, the TD said it was rape until around 10am today when they changed it - at least on their webpage

   Isn’t there only one way to get to the island — by crossing the suspension bridge? (unless you want to swim or take the 100 foot drop off the highway overhead) How hard would it be to place one surveillance camera to get images of people entering and exiting the island?
