Check out the website for the East Coast Greenway - www.greenway.org to see the updates on a planned North-South trail going through Richmond that runs from Maine to Florida.

Maybe one day the trail can be built to connect
to the Applachian Trail, and it would be a great way to travel towards the Appalachian Trail throught the Virginia Capital trail,
hike along the rest of route 60 W to the AT.

2012? I'm fading fast. By then I'll be using a 3 wheeler with a basket. Actually that sounds kind of fun. I'll have to get me one of those.

How do bike tourists from D.C. travel into downtown Richmond along the East Coast Greenway in order to connect with the Virginia Capital Trail?

If they decide not to take the Virginia Capital Trail, then how do they continue south along the East Coast Greenway?

How come this is not part of the City's Downtown Master Plan? I asked about this before and during the sessions.
