Halligan Bar opens tomorrow

The Halligan Bar and Grill (3 North 17th Street) opens Thursday. That fire truck looks truly awesome when peeking though the window, can’t wait to get inside…

I’ve been two weekends in a row now. Decor is amazing, atmosphere is cool, crowd is laid back but fun. If you haven’t been yet, I highly suggest you check it out.

I wandered down to the bottom for the super bowl and this was one of the few places open. I hadn’t even heard of it. The food was awesome. Had a london broil sandwich. It was 1/2 lb of meat with melted fresh grated cheddar. I was impressed they even make their own pickles. It is a great place and plan on becoming a frequent visitor. I almost don’t want to write a good review to keep it a secret. Its a small place, I’d hate to have to wait. I think there was 1 bartender and 2 cooks, but the service was great! Prices were pretty decent too, esp for what you get.

I went with some firefighter friends of mine and my boyfriend who is also a firefighter on Friday night. The food is awesome and the bar area is so cool with the fire truck theme! This place is truly amazing! I hope all of the Richmond area based firefighters will check it out. The service is awesome even when they are busy and only about 4 people who work there. It is truly an amazing place to hang out. Lots of fun!!! Keep up the great work.

A couple of us were in the area a while back and everyone told us to go here. It was one of the best bar and grills that I have been in. I love the Seagrave and everything else words cant describe. I will defiantly be back and bring lots of firefighter family with me.
